#3 Balancing Bird // medium // Black clay & white
These birds are inspired by the wonderful work of Finnish ceramic artist Birger Kaipiainen. For a long time, his designs have influenced me, and in making these birds, I hope to have captured his essence in a homage to him.
Each piece is handcrafted from black stoneware clay, drawn into and finished with white glazed details. They are stylish ornaments that are meant to be appreciated for their unique handmade and slightly wonky craftsmanship!

Signed on the bottom and gift wrapped in tissue.
Please note these are balancing birds so they will need to be kept away from cats!
